Emily McNutt

As Forbes Advisor's Editorial Director of Growth Projects, Emily looks after driving editorial innovation and audience engagement through new channels. She oversees the vision for audience-generating initiatives such as newsletters, social media and outreach, driving editorial growth and brand awareness. Prior to joining Forbes Advisor, she was Editorial Director at CNN Underscored, where she led a team in creating serviceable journalism in personal finance, small business and home. She's also held roles with CNN Underscored, launching the Travel vertical, and as the Global News Editor at The Points Guy. There, she oversaw TPG’s news operation and launched the first-ever international outpost for the brand, The Points Guy UK. She holds a master’s degree in journalism from New York University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri. A native of Upstate New York, she’s traveled to more than 50 countries and currently resides outside of London.
